Linda
trained as a Solicitor whilst working for HM Courts Service at
Bexhill, Eastbourne and then Hastings Magistrates Courts. She
completed a Law Degree and her Law Society finals, qualifying in
1993. In 1996 she joined Heringtons Solicitors, later becoming a
Partner and heading up that firm's Criminal Department.
After
Heringtons ceased to carry out publicly funded work, Linda joined
Bishop and Light in September 2008.
She
now manages our Bexhill on Sea office. Linda's experience as a Court
Clerk has given her an excellent knowledge of the finer details of
Magistrates Court practice and she also has rights of audience in
the Crown Court, splitting her time between Magistrates and Crown Court
work.
